Innova Corporate (India) offers Flocculant Ionic Poly Electrolyte PE-611 – a high molecular weight (10-14 million Da), anionic polyacrylamide (APAM) with medium charge density (20-30% hydrolysis) for mineral processing, sand washing, and inorganic suspended solids in Amritsar's industries. For Amritsar's marble and stone cutting units (on the outskirts) – which generate slurry of fine calcium carbonate (CaCO₃) particles (1-50 µm) – this anionic flocculant rapidly settles the solids in a thickener or clarifier, producing clear water for recycling (up to 90% reuse) and a dense sludge for disposal or sale (marble slurry can be used in paint or cement). Dosage: 2-10 ppm of the slurry volume (i.e., 20-100 g per m³). For sand washing plants (producing aggregate for Amritsar's construction boom), PE-611 clarifies wash water, enabling reuse and reducing fresh water consumption. For ceramic industries (small pottery units in Amritsar), it settles clay fines from glaze preparation and casting processes. The product is supplied as white granular powder (100% active) with a hydrolysis degree of 25-30%. It should be dissolved at 0.1-0.2% concentration in soft water (avoid high shear; use a propeller mixer at 200-300 rpm for 30-60 minutes). For red mud settling (alumina refineries – not in Amritsar but nearby), PE-611 is effective, but we have specialized products. For coal washing (coal from nearby mines), this flocculant clarifies thickener overflow. For textile effluent with high TSS from scouring (but containing anionic surfactants), the anionic flocculant may not work well – use cationic coagulant first. Compatibility: not for use with high concentrations of cationic salts or polymers. Pack sizes: 25kg bags. For Amritsar's municipal water treatment plants (if they use flocculation for turbidity removal), APAM is sometimes used as a filter aid, but very low dosage (0.1-0.5 ppm) required. INNOVA PE 611 may be unloaded manually or taken directly in to the dilution tank from the container. Prepare stock solution (1.0 to 1.5% w/v) of the polyelectrolytes using clear filtered water.
Prepare feed solution by diluting the stock solution directly or by on-line using filtered water. For small chemicals can be dosed by gravity or by dosing equipment. However, for large systems use of dosing system is recommended. We will recommend the dosing equipment best suited for your requirement.
Recommended dosage is in the range of 0.5 to 1.0 ppm depending on the water quality.
Do not store the material in open. Keep the container tightly closed when not in use. These products exhibit very low order of oral toxicity. No special care is required in handling this product.
