Innova Corporate (India) offers a comprehensive range of defoamers (antifoaming agents) for Amritsar's industrial processes where foam causes operational problems – including cooling towers, leather tanneries, textile dyeing, effluent treatment plants (ETPs), chemical reactors, paints, and food processing. Foam in Amritsar's cooling towers (tanneries, textile mills, hotels) reduces heat transfer, causes water loss via drift, and can trigger biocide carryover. For cooling towers, foam is often caused by biocide surfactants (quats), dispersants, or process contamination (oils, detergents). Our defoamer range includes: silicone-based (PDMS emulsion, 10-30% active) – effective at very low levels (1-5 ppm), high temperature stability (up to 100°C/212°F); non-silicone oil-based (mineral oil + hydrophobic silica) – for food-grade applications and where silicone is prohibited; water-based polyglycol defoamers (PPG or EO/PO block copolymers) – for high-temperature systems (>80°C/176°F) and for ETP aeration tanks where silicone would coat bacteria; powder defoamers (calcium stearate, fatty amides) – for dry mixes. For Amritsar's leather tanneries (beamhouse operations), high proteinaceous foam from soaking and liming is controlled with oil-based defoamers. For textile dyeing units (Verka), high-shear jet dyeing machines at 130°C require silicone emulsion defoamers that are stable at high temperature and shear. For ETP aeration tanks in Amritsar's CETP for tanneries, biological foam (from filamentous bacteria or high FOG) is controlled using water-based polyglycol defoamers that don't harm microorganisms. For food industry (papad, pickle, dairy, sweets), our polypropylene glycol (PPG) or vegetable oil-based defoamers are FDA-approved (21 CFR 173.340). For paint and coating manufacturing (small local units), we supply non-silicone defoamers to avoid surface defects. Typical dosage: 5-50 ppm continuous or 100-200 ppm shock. Our defoamers are supplied as liquids of varying viscosity (200-5000 cP). Available in 25L, 200L drums, 1000L IBCs. We also provide defoamer test kits (shake test, bubble collapse time) and automatic defoamer feed systems (foam sensor based). Technical support includes foam tendency testing (Ross-Miles method) for Amritsar's customers.
