Innova Corporate (India) supplies food-grade flocculants for Amritsar's fruit juice, beverage, and sugar processing industries – certified under FDA 21 CFR 173.315, NSF H1, HALAL, and Kosher. These anionic or non-ionic polyacrylamides are used for juice clarification, sugar syrup purification, and gelatin removal. Amritsar has several fruit processing units (mango pulp for aamras, guava, pomegranate, and traditional beverages) as well as sweets and confectionery units using large quantities of sugar syrup. Raw sugar syrup (50-70 Brix) and fruit juices contain colloidal impurities, pectins, proteins, and waxes that cause haze. Our flocculant, added at 0.5-5 ppm to the hot syrup (70-80°C/158-176°F) or cold juice, aggregates these impurities into larger flocs that are easily removed by filtration (plate and frame, pressure leaf) or centrifugation. The result is a brilliantly clear syrup or juice suitable for high-end sweets and beverages. The product is completely soluble and leaves no taste, odor, or color. For Amritsar's sweet manufacturers (jalebi, gulab jamun, barfi) and syrup producers, this ensures consistent quality. For fruit juice processors (local brands), it improves clarity and shelf life. For sugar mills (near Amritsar, in surrounding districts), it clarifies raw sugar melt before crystallization. We provide certificates of food-grade compliance, HALAL, Kosher upon request. Available as white granules in 25kg bags with inner liner. For best results, make a 0.1% stock solution in deionized water with gentle stirring. For batch processes (small sweet shops), we offer pre-weighed packets (1g, 5g, 10g) for direct addition to the syrup kettle. We also offer on-site trials with a portable jar test apparatus. For dairy industry (whey clarification), we have a milk protein flocculant. Shelf life: 24 months. For larger sugar mills, we supply in 500kg super sacks with automatic make-down systems.
Higher settling rates in subsider - Increases through puts from the clarifier.
Lower retention time - Reduction in sugar inversion.
Reduction in lime addition - Improved sugar juice quality
Reduction in mud volume - compact filter cakes with low pol content.
Higher filteration rates - low pol content in mud cakes.
Recommended dosage is in the range of 0.5 to 1.0 ppm depending on juice quality.
1. Coagulation: - Destabilization of colloidal particles by neutralizing forces that keep them apart which is accomplished by the additional lime.
2. Flocculation: - Agglomeration of colloidal particles into flocs and these flocs create large clusters and settle down faster.
INNOVA SP 406 is high molecular weight Ionic flocculants completely soluble in water. This flocculant has been developed to improve the settling Characteristics of lime dificated juices and enhance the filtration Characteristics of the resulting mud.
This product is effective over wide range of pH and have great flexibility in coping with fluctuation in operating conditions with their remarkable settling properties they rapidly bring down clarifier mud levels under control when 'difficult' juices are treated. Uses of this flocculant also improve the filterability of the mud by rapidly forming filter cake of excellent porosity. Uniform composition and consistency.
INNOVA SP 406 is stable and can be stored for extended period of time. Product should be stored in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and food. In case of contact, immediately flush eyes or skin with large amount of water several times.
Prepare stock solution (0.05 to 0.1% w/v) of the INNOVA SP 406 using clear filtered water. Prepare feed solution by diluting the stock solution about ten times with filtered water (directly or by online dilution).
