Innova Corporate (India) offers Flocculant Cationic Poly Electrolyte PE-613 – a very high molecular weight (>15 million Da), low charge density (10-20 mole%) cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) for sludge dewatering and high-solids clarification in Amritsar's effluent treatment plants, especially for municipal sewage, tannery mixed sludge, and textile biological sludge. This polymer produces large, shear-resistant flocs that release water readily, ideal for belt press, centrifuge, and screw press dewatering. For Amritsar's municipal sewage treatment plants (STPs) – including those serving the Golden Temple area and other parts of the city – PE-613 is highly effective for dewatering activated sludge (which has high microbial content and colloidal structure). For tannery CETP at Jalandhar Road, where sludge is a mixture of biological sludge and chemical sludge (from chrome precipitation and sulfide oxidation), PE-613 achieves cake solids of 25-30%, reducing disposal cost by 40% (lower trucking volume). For textile ETPs in Verka, where sludge contains dyes and biological matter, this polymer works well because its low charge density minimizes over-charging and floc breakup. The product is supplied as white free-flowing granules (100% active). It must be dissolved at 0.1-0.3% concentration in soft water (preferably warm water 30-40°C/86-104°F) with gentle stirring for 30-60 minutes. Aging for 60 minutes improves flocculation. Dosage: 3-12 kg per ton of dry solids, or 2-10 ppm in the sludge feed stream. For Amritsar's hotel STPs (near Golden Temple, many have on-site treatment), PE-613 effectively dewaters activated sludge from small package plants with minimal polymer consumption. We also provide on-site polymer selection via jar testing and capillary suction time (CST) analysis – we bring portable CST timers to your facility. The product is anionic incompatible – do not mix with anionic polymers. Available in 25kg bags with inner polyliner. For automatic preparation, we supply polymer make-down units (volumetric screw feeder + wetting cone + aging tank). Technical data: charge density 1.2-1.5 meq/g, residual monomer <0.05% (very low – safe for discharge). Also available as liquid emulsion (30-50% active) for easier handling.
Increased throughput.
Easy to prepare solution.Effective at low dosages.
ompletely miscible with water.
INNOVA PE 613 may be unloaded manually or taken directly in to the dilution tank from the container. Prepare stock solution (1.0 to 1.5% w/v) of the polyelectrolytes using clear filtered water.
Prepare feed solution by diluting the stock solution directly or by on-line using filtered water. For small chemicals can be dosed by gravity or by dosing equipment. However, for large systems use of dosing system is recommended. We will recommend the dosing equipment best suited for your requirement.
Recommended dosage is in the range of 0.5 to 1.0 ppm depending on the water quality
Do not store the material in open. Keep the container tightly closed when not in use. These products exhibit very low order of oral toxicity. No special care is required in handling this product.
INNOVA PE 613 is available in 25Kgs & 50Kgs.
