Innova Corporate (India) offers high-performance copolymers – scale inhibitors and dispersants based on maleic acid, acrylic acid, and sulfonic acid copolymer chemistry. These polymers are essential for Amritsar's water treatment applications where phosphonate-based antiscalants alone are insufficient, especially in high-hardness, high-pH cooling towers and boiler systems operating at elevated cycles (4-6x). Our copolymers include: AA/AMPS (acrylic acid/acrylamido methyl propane sulfonic acid) – excellent for calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, and iron oxide control, with high chlorine tolerance and thermal stability up to 120°C (248°F); AA/HPA (acrylic acid/hydroxypropyl acrylate) – good for iron dispersion and calcium carbonate; MA/AA (maleic/acrylic, 1:1 ratio) – high thermal stability (up to 200°C/392°F) and excellent calcium carbonate inhibition, ideal for boilers; MA/VA (maleic/vinyl acetate) – for low pH applications; and terpolymers (AA/AMPS/MA) – for superior performance across multiple scales. For Amritsar's cooling towers operating at pH 8.5-9.0 and 40-45°C (104-113°F), AA/AMPS prevents calcium carbonate scaling even at LSI +2.5. It also disperses iron oxides, clay, and silt – critical during monsoon when Ravi river carries fine silt. For leather tanneries where cooling water may contain iron from groundwater, the iron dispersion capability is vital. For boilers (medium-pressure, 10-30 bar), MA/AA copolymers provide excellent thermal stability and sludge conditioning. For reverse osmosis antiscalant formulations (for tanneries and textile RO plants), these copolymers are key components, especially for high-silica and high-iron feeds. Molecular weight range: 2,000-15,000 Da – lower MW (2k-5k) for threshold inhibition, higher MW (8k-15k) for dispersion. All our copolymers are thermally stable up to 120-200°C depending on composition. They are compatible with all common biocides and corrosion inhibitors. Available as 30-50% active liquids and in powder form (90-95% active) for dry blending. For Amritsar's industries looking to reduce phosphonate use (to meet PPCB discharge limits), we offer copolymer-only programs. Dosage: 2-10 ppm in cooling water, 5-25 ppm in boiler feed. We supply polymer residual test methods (turbidimetric with Hyamine 1622). Pack sizes: 200L drums, 1000L IBCs (liquid), 25kg bags, 500kg super sacks (powder).
