Innova Corporate (India) offers Di-Chlorophenate based biocides (sodium 2,4-dichlorophenate) for Amritsar's industrial preservation and wood treatment sectors. This biocide is highly effective against fungi, mold, yeasts, and some bacteria – especially problematic during Amritsar's humid monsoon (July-September, 70-85% RH) and in textile and leather storage. Primary applications in Amritsar include: textile sizing and finishing – preventing mildew on stored fabrics and yarns (common in Verka area textile godowns); water-based paints and coatings – in-can preservation for local paint manufacturers serving Amritsar's construction market; leather processing – preventing fungal growth on wet-blue hides during storage and transport; paper and board mills (small units around Amritsar) – controlling slime and fungal growth. For cooling towers in tanneries, textile mills, and hotels, a shock dose of 100-200 ppm every 5-7 days controls fungal mats that clog fill media and reduce heat transfer. The biocide works by uncoupling oxidative phosphorylation in microbial cells. It shows good efficacy over pH 4-9 and is compatible with non-ionic surfactants. For wood treatment (e.g., pallets, crates, and packaging materials used in Amritsar's logistics sector), we supply a higher concentration powder (80-90% active) for dip treatment. Environmental note: dichlorophenate has moderate acute toxicity to fish and aquatic life. For discharges into Amritsar's CETP or Ravi river, we recommend neutralization and pH adjustment before disposal. Available as clear to pale yellow liquid (40-50% active) in 25L, 200L drums, and powder (80-90%) in 20kg bags. Shelf life: 24 months. We provide fungal resistance testing for formulation development.
Dosage in cooling water treatment programs is 50 to 75 ppm for the effective control of biocidal activity. For pulp and paper mills 10 ppm dosage is recommended.
INNOVA BCD 425 should be fed as received and not diluted with water or mixed with any chemical feed solution. The chemical should be added to cooling tower basin (or any other point which provides uniform mixing) addition should be made through metering pump to minimise handling.

The best indication of the successful application of INNOVA BCD 425 is visual inspection of tower surfaces or monitoring changes in heat transfer on metal surface of process equipment.
Use of on-site bacterial counts or microscopic examination provide relative indicators of system cleanliness and biological control. If bacteria counts are used, Note that counts may be high immediately after biocide addition. Counts will be lower as control is achieved.
INNOVA BCD 425 is available in 25Kgs, 50Kgs & 200 Kgs.
