When burning high-sulfur fuels (diesel or HFO), combustion produces acidic compounds (SO₂, SO₃) that condense on cooler surfaces causing low-temperature corrosion (dew point corrosion). For natural gas-fired boilers (common in Dubai), there is minimal sulfur, but vanadium corrosion can occur in some cases. Our fireside products include: magnesium hydroxide slurries (50-60%), dolomite-based powders, fuel-borne catalysts (ferrocene, cerium, manganese), and slag control additives. For diesel-fired boilers (backup systems), our magnesium hydroxide additive (0.1-0.5% of fuel flow) neutralizes sulfur acids, reducing dew point corrosion. For natural gas-fired boilers, we provide vanadium inhibitors if needed. For biomass-fired boilers (if any), we offer slag control additives to prevent clinker formation.
