Innova Corporate (India) offers Flocculant Cationic Poly Electrolyte PE-613 – a very high molecular weight (>15 million Da), low charge density (10-20 mole%) cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) designed for sludge dewatering and high-solids clarification in Bihar's effluent treatment plants (ETPs), especially for sugar mills (mixed biological and chemical sludge), municipal sewage, and food processing sludge. This polymer produces large, shear-resistant flocs that release water readily, making it ideal for belt press, centrifuge, and screw press dewatering. For Bihar's municipal sewage treatment plants (STPs) – such as those in Patna, Muzaffarpur, and Bhagalpur – PE-613 is highly effective for dewatering activated sludge (which has high microbial content and colloidal structure). For sugar mill CETPs, where sludge is a mixture of biological sludge and chemical sludge (from clarification and color removal), PE-613 achieves cake solids of 25-30%, reducing disposal cost by 40% (lower trucking volume). For rice mills and food processing ETPs, where sludge contains starches and proteins (slippery and difficult to dewater), this polymer works well because its low charge density minimizes over-charging and floc breakup. The product is supplied as white free-flowing granules (100% active). It must be dissolved at 0.1-0.3% concentration in soft water (preferably warm water 30-40°C/86-104°F to accelerate dissolution) with gentle stirring (low shear, 100-200 rpm) for 30-60 minutes. Aging the solution for 60 minutes improves flocculation performance. Dosage: 3-12 kg per ton of dry solids, or 2-10 ppm in the sludge feed stream. For Bihar's hotel STPs (Patna, Bodh Gaya, Rajgir), PE-613 effectively dewaters activated sludge from small package plants with minimal polymer consumption. We also provide on-site polymer selection via jar testing and capillary suction time (CST) analysis – we bring portable CST timers to your facility. The product is anionic incompatible – do not mix with anionic polymers or anionic surfactants. Available in 25kg bags with inner polyliner. For Bihar's rice mills (which produce inorganic CaCO₃ sludge from water softening), this cationic polymer is not suitable – use an anionic flocculant instead. For automatic preparation, we supply polymer make-down units (volumetric screw feeder + wetting cone + aging tank) that deliver a ready-to-use solution. Technical data: charge density 1.2-1.5 meq/g, residual monomer <0.05% (very low – safe for discharge).
This product is effective over a wide range of pH and has great flexibility in coping with fluctuations in operating conditions throughout Bihar. With their remarkable settling properties, they rapidly bring clarifier sludge levels under control when "difficult" process waters are treated in the region's environmental facilities.
Increased throughput.
Easy to prepare solution.Effective at low dosages.
ompletely miscible with water.
INNOVA PE 613 may be unloaded manually or taken directly in to the dilution tank from the container. Prepare stock solution (1.0 to 1.5% w/v) of the polyelectrolytes using clear filtered water.
Prepare feed solution by diluting the stock solution directly or by on-line using filtered water. For small chemicals can be dosed by gravity or by dosing equipment. However, for large systems use of dosing system is recommended. We will recommend the dosing equipment best suited for your requirement.
Recommended dosage is in the range of 0.5 to 1.0 ppm depending on the water quality
Do not store the material in open. Keep the container tightly closed when not in use. These products exhibit very low order of oral toxicity. No special care is required in handling this product.
INNOVA PE 613 is available in 25Kgs & 50Kgs.
