ETP Cationic Poly Electrolyte in Bihar

Innova Corporate (India) supplies ETP Cationic Poly Electrolyte – a high molecular weight (8-15 million Da), medium to high charge density (20-50 mole%) cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) specifically designed for sludge dewatering and clarification in Bihar's effluent treatment plants (ETPs), common effluent treatment plants (CETPs), and sewage treatment plants (STPs). This polymer is highly effective for organic and mixed industrial sludges from sugar mills (biological sludge, mud), rice mills (organic sludge), textile (dye sludge), food processing (FOG-rich sludge), and municipal sewage. The cationic charge neutralizes the negative charge of suspended solids, bacterial flocs, and colloidal particles, causing rapid flocculation, compaction, and water release. For Bihar's sugar mill CETPs (which produce high volumes of biological sludge mixed with mud and organic residues), our CPAM achieves sludge cake solids of 20-25% using a centrifuge or belt press, significantly reducing sludge disposal costs (landfill or incineration). For textile CETPs (Bhagalpur silk cluster), the same polymer dewaters sludge containing dyes and fibers. For food processing ETPs (dairy, fruit, edible oil), our high-charge CPAM (40-50% charge) captures fine particles. The product is supplied as a white granular powder (100% active) with a charge density of 30-40% (customizable). It should be made down to 0.1-0.5% solution in clean, soft water (avoid high-speed mixing to prevent shear degradation of polymer chains). For continuous dewatering equipment (belt filter press, screw press, centrifuge), we provide automatic polymer make-down units that age the solution for 30-60 minutes before dosing. Dosage: 2-10 kg per ton of dry solids, or 5-25 ppm in the feed stream. For Bihar's CETP handling a mix of sugar, food, and domestic waste, we recommend a jar test series to determine optimal polymer type (charge density and molecular weight) – the wastewater composition varies by season (monsoon dilution vs summer concentration). We supply all common ionicities and molecular weights – for low solids (highly organic sludge), use high charge (40-50%); for high solids (mineral-laden sludge), use medium charge (20-30%). Available in 25kg bags with inner moisture-barrier liner. For large users (CETPs treating >10 MLD), we supply 500kg super sacks and bulk bags. Provide on-site trial support and polymer selection guidance – our field service team can run a capillary suction time (CST) test or jar test at your facility. For sludge thickening (gravity belt thickener), use a lower MW CPAM to avoid over-flocculation. Pack sizes: 25kg, 500kg, 1000kg pallets. We also offer emulsion cationic polyelectrolytes (30-50% active) for easier handling and rapid make-down (no aging required).

Due to its adherence and reinforcing properties, Cationic Polyelectrolyte is widely used in the paper-making industry across Bihar to enhance the staying rate of filling material, speed up size filterability, and white water sediment processing, ultimately increasing paper strength. Furthermore, PAM can be used with polyvinyl alcohol as a textile size to improve textile processing and enhance product properties for manufacturers in the Bihar region.
