Innova Corporate (India) offers Deposit Controller 276 – an advanced phosphonate-free deposit control agent for Bihar's environmentally sensitive cooling water discharges – such as industries located near the Ganges river (Namami Gange mission area) or those required to meet BSPCB norms for phosphorus (typically <5 mg/L as P in discharge). This product uses biodegradable polyaspartate or polyepoxysuccinic acid (PESA) combined with a sulfonated copolymer (AA/AMPS) and a zinc alternative (e.g., PBTC – phosphonobutanetricarboxylic acid, which is low-phosphorus). It provides excellent calcium carbonate and calcium phosphate scale inhibition without adding significant phosphorus to the discharge. For Bihar's sugar mills, rice mills, and food processing units operating cooling towers at moderate cycles of concentration (3-5 cycles due to water scarcity), Deposit Controller 276 prevents scaling even at LSI +2.5. It also disperses iron, silica, and organic matter – critical for facilities using groundwater with high iron (2-10 ppm) or high silica (40-90 ppm). The product is biodegradable (>60% in 28 days, OECD 301B), making it suitable for zero liquid discharge (ZLD) systems where blowdown is evaporated and any residues must be non-toxic. For Bihar's common effluent treatment plants (CETPs) for sugar and textile clusters, Deposit Controller 276 is preferred because it does not contribute to phosphorus load in the final effluent. Dosage range: 20-100 ppm in cooling water. It is compatible with all common biocides (oxidizing and non-oxidizing). The product also contains a stainless steel corrosion inhibitor (essential for cooling systems using 304 SS heat exchangers, which are prone to chloride stress corrosion cracking – Bihar's groundwater chlorides 100-250 ppm). For zinc-free systems (to avoid heavy metal discharge), we offer a variant with molybdate (extra cost but environmentally friendly). Deposit Controller 276 is supplied as a clear to hazy liquid (freeze-thaw stable – Bihar's winter rarely freezes, but stored indoors). We provide jar testing and pilot studies for Bihar's industries switching from phosphonate-based programs. Available in 200L drums and 1000L IBCs.

Application:

    INNOVA BW 276 also contains powerful threshold inhibitor to prevent scale formation in feed water pipelines and boiler internals. The crystal distorter and specific dispersant incorporated in the product ensures high mobility of the phosphate sludge formed so that it is easily removed by blow down. The dispersant also ensures that suspended particulate matter do not accumulate and are removed by the blow down.

    INNOVA BW 276 can be dosed directly by dissolving up to 5% in the best quality of water available. The proper treatment levels vary with factors like boiler system, operating conditions, boiler pressure and water Characteristics.. The desired feeding mode is the continuous injection to feed water. Use sufficient quantity of INNOVA BW 276 to maintain recommended phosphate residual in the boiler water.

Handling:

    Keep the container closed when not in use. Avoid contact with eye or prolonged contact with skin. Do not take internally.In case of contact with skin, wash with plenty of water. In case of contact with eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek immediate medical attention. In case of ingestion, wash mouth thoroughly and drink plenty of water.
