Innova Corporate (India) offers Coagulant Cationic Poly Electrolyte PE-607 – an ultra-high charge density (>9 meq/g), low molecular weight (approx. 300,000-500,000 Da) liquid coagulant specifically developed for Bihar's difficult-to-treat industrial effluents containing colloidal silica (from Ganges river silt), clay (during monsoon), and negatively charged organic compounds (humic acids, tannins from sugar and food processing). This product is particularly effective for reverse osmosis (RO) pretreatment in Bihar's sugar mills (boiler feed water), food processing, and pharmaceutical sectors, where colloidal fouling of membranes is a major issue. During the monsoon (June-September), the Ganges river carries high turbidity (300-1000 NTU) consisting of fine clay and silt particles (<1 µm) that pass through conventional sand filters and multimedia filters, leading to rapid SDI increase and RO membrane fouling. PE-607 neutralizes these colloids, allowing them to agglomerate into filterable flocs (10-100 µm). For Bihar's sugar mills using RO for boiler feed, pre-monsoon and monsoon water quality can vary dramatically – PE-607 ensures consistent RO feed quality.
