Innova Corporate (India) offers Closed System Treatment 302 – an advanced, multi-metal corrosion inhibitor specifically designed for larger or more critical closed loops in Bihar's industrial and commercial facilities. This formulation contains a synergistic blend of molybdate (100-200 ppm), nitrite (300-500 ppm), tolyltriazole (TTZ, 2-5 ppm for copper and brass), and an organic polymer dispersant (polyacrylate, 5-15 ppm). It provides superior protection for mixed metallurgy systems (mild steel, copper, admiralty brass, stainless steel 304/316) commonly found in Bihar's large sugar mills (central HVAC for offices and labs), pharmaceutical plants (cleanroom chillers), and commercial buildings (hotels in Patna, Bodh Gaya, hospitals). Unlike basic nitrite-only treatments (Formula 0), Formula 302 offers higher temperature stability (up to 95°C/203°F), making it suitable for closed hot water heating systems as well as chilled water. The molybdate component acts as an anodic film former that is less oxygen-dependent than nitrite, ensuring protection even in stagnant zones, dead legs, and during system shutdowns/lay-ups. For Bihar's industries that have seasonal shutdowns (e.g., sugar mills after crushing season, some rice mills), this is critical to prevent under-deposit corrosion and pitting. The product also contains a buffer (borate or phosphate) to maintain pH 9-10.5. For large systems (>50 m³ volume), we recommend automatic feed systems with online molybdate and pH sensors. Case example: A Patna hotel's 600 TR chiller loop (serving guest rooms and banquet halls) treated with 302 showed zero corrosion (<0.1 mpy) after 3 years (vs. 0.4 mm/year previously, with leaks every 2 years). The product is non-foaming and compatible with glycol antifreeze (ethylene or propylene glycol) at concentrations up to 30% – important for systems that may be exposed to freezing (Bihar's winter occasionally touches 5°C/41°F, but glycol is rare). Applications:

      Biological Growth Control:

      Some microorganisms secrete protective slime which serves as a distinct barrier against biocide treatment. Under such circumstances increasing the biocide dosage is a futile effort because access to the living organisms is still unobtainable. The organisms continue to grow under the protective slime.

      Furthermore, this slime barrier accumulates slit and other inorganic deposits which further increase the depth of the protective barrier - making control even more difficult. "INNOVA CW 302" is an effective penetrant which provides access through this barrier so that biocides will do their job and control the sheltered biological growths. "INNOVA CW 302" is slug fed into the system about ½ hour before beginning the biocide treatment.

      Inorganic Deposit Control:

      Scale, corrosion products, slit can accumulate rapidly and form an impenetrable barrier against treatment chemicals designed to control these conditions. In addition, the barrier can compound the treatment problems by harboring colonies of bacteria. The penetrant will be fed into the cooling system ahead of the prescribed anti-foulant chemical treatment.

      Controlling Oily Deposits:

      Manufacturing plants, refineries and industries using oils in their production process are often plagued with oil in the cooling water system. When oil deposits accumulate, they form a barrier around corrosion deposits, bacteria, slit and scale. These oil barriers provide an excellent nutrient for excess bacteria growths - which in turn accumulate more silt deposits. Normal treatment cannot penetrate these oily barriers - particularly when they become baked and hardened by heat. The continuous feeding of "INNOVA CW 302" is recommended to break this barrier and permit the biocide treatment to be effective
