Deposit Controller 403 is a heavy-duty organic sludge conditioner and dispersant from Innova Corporate designed for Ahmedabad's cooling towers and boilers that experience sticky, tenacious deposits consisting of biofilm, oil, grease, silt, and corrosion products. Unlike conventional dispersants that work only on inorganic particles (e.g., calcium carbonate, silica), Deposit Controller 403 contains non-ionic surfactants (ethoxylated alcohols or alkylphenol ethoxylates – APE-free available) and polymer blends (maleic-acrylic copolymer + sulfonated copolymer) that penetrate and emulsify organic and oily deposits. This is particularly important for Ahmedabad's textile processing units where cooling water often becomes contaminated with spin finishes, lubricants, knitting oils, and surfactants from upstream processes. These contaminants combine with hard water salts to form a sticky, viscous sludge that fouls heat exchangers and cooling tower fill. For Ahmedabad's engineering and auto ancillary units (Sanand, Changodar) that have cooling systems near machining areas, minor oil leaks from hydraulic systems or cutting fluids can cause severe fouling. Deposit Controller 403 emulsifies these oils, preventing them from depositing. For dairy and food processing plants (Sabarmati area), the product helps control fat, oil, and grease (FOG) fouling in cooling systems that use recycled water. The product also disperses calcium soaps that form when hard water reacts with fatty acids (from microbial action or process contamination). For cooling towers near diesel generator sets (common in Ahmedabad's IT parks and hospitals as backup power), Deposit Controller 403 prevents oil fouling from minor leaks in cooling lines for DGs. The product is non-foaming (critical for cooling tower operation) and can be used at temperatures up to 120°C. Dosage: 20-100 ppm continuous in cooling water, or 200-400 ppm weekly shock during fouling incidents. It is compatible with all common oxidizing and non-oxidizing biocides. For boiler water treatment (low-pressure boilers with organic contamination), Deposit Controller 403 conditions sludge to prevent sticky deposits on boiler tubes, making blowdown more effective. Available as a amber viscous liquid (specific gravity 1.05-1.10). We recommend using it with an automatic bleed-off controller to remove dispersed solids. Application:

    The specific corrosion inhibitors in INNOVA BW 403 provide corrosion protection by the formation of a protective passive film on the metal surfaces. The protective layer prevents direct contact of the corrosive media (water) with the metal surface.

    INNOVA BW 403 also contains powerful threshold inhibitor to prevent scale formation in feed water pipelines and boiler internals. The crystal distorter and specific dispersant incorporated in the product ensures high mobility of the phosphate sludge formed so that it is easily removed by blow down. The dispersant also ensures that suspended particulate matter do not accumulate and are removed by the blow down.

Dosage & Feeding:

    INNOVA BW 403 can be dosed directly without dilution. Normally a phosphate reserve is maintained in the boiler water. The proper treatment levels vary with factors like boiler system, operating conditions, boiler pressure and water Characteristics. The product Characteristics and viscosity permit easy feeding by on-line dosage pumps. The desired feeding mode is the continuous injection to feed water.

Handling:

    Avoid contact with eye or prolonged contact with skin. Do not take internally. In case of contact with skin, wash with plenty of water. In case of contact with eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek immediate medical attention. In case of ingestion, wash mouth thoroughly and drink plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting and seek medical attention. Avoid extremes of temperature and wear gloves and goggles wherever appropriate.
