"Formula 0" typically refers to a nitrite-based treatment (no molybdate or azole, making it economical for budget-conscious operations). It is ideal for chilled water systems (10-500 TR), heating loops (radiator systems), engine jackets (diesel generators), hydraulic systems, and small process cooling loops. For Ahmedabad's small hotels, offices, manufacturing units, and residential complexes with central AC, this product provides adequate protection against rust (mild steel corrosion) and scale (calcium carbonate) at a low cost. The formulation contains sodium nitrite (as an anodic inhibitor, 5-10% by weight), sodium borate or sodium benzoate (pH buffer), and a low level of dispersant (polyacrylate). It maintains a pH between 9-10 (ideal for nitrite stability) and a nitrite residual of 400-800 ppm.
