High Pressure Boiler Water Treatment 342 is a chelant-polymer-phosphate coordinated program for medium-to-high pressure boilers (20-60 bar) in Agra's industries that use softened water (not full demineralized). This product contains EDTA/NTA chelants, polyacrylic acid dispersant, and orthophosphate/polyphosphate. The chelants complex any residual hardness (calcium, magnesium) to prevent scaling, while the polymer disperses suspended solids, and phosphate buffers pH and precipitates any excess hardness as a mobile sludge. For Agra's textile processing and tanneries with softened water (hardness <2 ppm but not zero), HP-342 is ideal. It maintains clean boiler tubes at heat fluxes up to 200,000 kcal/hr/m². Dosage: 20-100 ppm based on feedwater hardness. The product is supplied as a liquid (30-40% active) or powder blend. For Agra's hotels with medium-pressure boilers (laundry, kitchen), we recommend this treatment to avoid scale-related tube failures during peak season. It also contains a sludge conditioner to keep precipitates fluid for blowdown removal. We provide on-site boiler water analysis (hardness, P-alkalinity, M-alkalinity, chloride, phosphate, pH, conductivity) to optimize blowdown and chemical consumption. For steam purity sensitive applications (textile dyeing with direct steam injection), our formulation has low solids to prevent fabric spotting. Available in 200L drums, 25kg bags (powder). For old boilers with existing scale, we recommend cleaning before starting HP-342.
For convenience the three integral parts of the system boiler system are considered separately.
INNOVA BW 342 is compatible with most chemicals used in total boiler water treatment programs.
Avoid contact with eyes or prolonged contact with skin. Do not take internally. In case of contact with skin, wash with plenty of water. In case of contact with eyes, flush with plenty of water for at least 10 to 15 minutes and seek immediate medical attention. Remove contaminated clothing and in severe cases seek immediate medical attention. Wear gloves and goggles wherever appropriate.
As well as its strong reducing properties and rapid reaction rate with oxygen, INNOVA BW 342 does not significantly contribute to dissolved solids in the boiler water. It may, therefore, be used as an alternative to hydrazine for high pressure installation or wherever the zero solids approach is called for.
In addition to the properties already considered, the volatility of INNOVA BW 342 is such that any product remaining unreacted in the boiler, is available in the system to react with oxygen in the condensate. The broad spectrum distribution ration ensures its uniform availability throughout the entire condensate system. As reaction products do not include ammonia and or ammonia releasing chemicals, copper and its alloys are not attacked.
All Vapour Technology (AVT) is applicable to the majority of steam boiler systems as well as pressurised hot water systems which demand a zero solids approach. However, systems differ greatly not only in terms of size and complexity, but also in terms of pressure. In order that maximum benefits can be achieved from AV Technology in virtually any system, the products based on zero solids approach, INNOVA BW 340 have been introduced.
INNOVA BW 342 is available in 25kgs, 50 kgs & 200 kgs drums.
