Innova Corporate's Defoamers (antifoaming agents) are essential for Agra's industrial processes where foam causes operational problems – including cooling towers, textile dyeing, tanneries, effluent treatment plants (ETPs), and food processing. Foam in Agra's cooling towers reduces heat transfer, causes water loss via drift, and can trigger biocide carryover. Our defoamer range includes silicone-based (PDMS emulsion, 10-30% active) – excellent for most water-based systems, non-silicone oil-based (mineral oil + hydrophobic silica) – for food-grade applications, and water-based polyglycol defoamers – for high-temperature systems. For Agra's textile dyeing units (jet dyeing machines), high-shear foam requires silicone emulsion defoamers that are stable at 130°C. For tanneries (beamhouse and tanning drums), we supply oil-based defoamers that work in high-fat/high-protein liquors. For ETP aeration tanks in Agra's CETP, biological foam is controlled using water-based defoamers that don't harm microorganisms. For food industry (Agra's sweets, dairy), our polypropylene glycol (PPG) defoamers are NSF/ADI approved. Typical dosage: 5-50 ppm continuous or 100-200 ppm shock. Our defoamers are supplied as liquids of varying viscosity (200-5000 cP), easy to pump. For cooling tower applications, we recommend silicone defoamers because they are effective at very low levels (1-5 ppm) and don't affect biocide activity.
