ETP Cationic Poly Electrolyte from Innova Corporate is a high molecular weight (8-12 million Da), medium charge density (20-40 mole%) cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) specifically designed for sludge dewatering and clarification in Agra's effluent treatment plants (ETPs), common effluent treatment plants (CETPs), and sewage treatment plants (STPs). This polymer is highly effective for organic and mixed industrial sludges from tanneries, textile mills, and food processing. The cationic charge neutralizes the negative charge of suspended solids and bacterial flocs, causing rapid flocculation, compaction, and water release. For Agra's leather tannery ETPs (which produce high volumes of biological sludge with fats and proteins), our CPAM achieves sludge cake solids of 20-25% using a centrifuge or belt press, significantly reducing sludge disposal costs. For textile ETPs with dye-containing sludge, our polymer also captures color bodies. The product is supplied as a white granular powder (100% active) with a cationic charge density of 30-40%. It should be made down to 0.1-0.5% solution in clean water (avoid high-speed mixing to prevent shear degradation). Dosage: 2-10 kg per ton of dry solids. For Agra's CETP handling a mix of tannery and textile waste, we recommend a jar test series to determine optimal polymer type and dosage. We supply all common ionicities and molecular weights – for low solids, use high charge; for high solids, use medium charge. Available in 25kg bags with inner liner.
