Dispersing Agent 55 is a sulfonated polyacrylate copolymer (AA/AMPS) with a molecular weight of ~15,000, offered by Innova Corporate for Agra's demanding applications requiring both scale inhibition and dispersion of iron, clay, and biological debris. The AMPS (acrylamido methyl propane sulfonic acid) functional group provides superior stability in high-hardness, high-pH, and high-temperature conditions (up to 120°C). This product is particularly effective for boiler water treatment in Agra's textile and tanneries where feed water hardness varies and steam purity is critical. It also disperses magnetite (Fe₃O₄) particles in high-pressure boilers, preventing under-deposit corrosion. In cooling towers, Dispersing Agent 55 prevents phosphate scale (when using phosphate-based corrosion inhibitors) and zinc phosphate scale. For Agra's leather tanneries, it disperses chromium hydroxide flocs that otherwise cause tanning defects. For reverse osmosis antiscalant formulations, this copolymer is a key component. Dosage: 2-15 ppm for scale inhibition, 10-50 ppm for dispersion. It is compatible with all common cooling water chemicals except strong oxidizers at high concentration. Available as a 35-40% active liquid, free-flowing. The product also exhibits some biocidal synergy with isothiazolones. For Agra's paper recycling units (small-scale), it disperses ink particles (de-inking process). We provide pilot testing for large customers. Pack sizes: 200L drums, 1000L IBC. For Agra's hotel laundry, Dispersing Agent 55 is used as a anti-redeposition agent in detergents. Technical data sheet available.
