Coagulant Cationic Poly Electrolyte PE-605 is a medium molecular weight, high charge density liquid polymer designed for Agra's industrial wastewater pretreatment. This product is ideal for tanneries, textile mills, and marble processing units where raw effluent contains high levels of suspended solids, fats, oils, and greases (FOG). PE-605 has a charge density of 6-8 meq/g and molecular weight ~1 million Da. It works by charge neutralization and bridging flocculation, converting fine colloidal particles (size 0.1-10 µm) into larger flocs that settle rapidly. For Agra's leather tanneries (which discharge fleshings, hair, and salt), this coagulant reduces TSS from 3000 ppm to <100 ppm at 80-120 ppm dosage. It also breaks oil-in-water emulsions from beamhouse operations. The product is effective over pH 5-11 and can be used in conjunction with alum or ferric chloride to reduce overall chemical cost. For Agra's marble slurry (high calcium carbonate content, pH 10-12), PE-605 helps settle micro-fine marble particles that otherwise block drains. Dosage optimization via jar tests is recommended. Our technical team provides on-site trials for Agra's industries. The polymer is supplied as a 0.2-0.5% solution (make down in clean water). It is non-toxic and biodegradable (40-60% after 28 days). Packed in 25kg bags (powder form also available) and 200L drums (liquid). For continuous treatment, we recommend a dosing skid with static mixer.
INNOVA PE 605 may be unloaded manually or pumped directly into the dilution tank from the container. Prepare stock solution (1.0 to 1.5% w/v) of the polyelectrolytes using clear filtered water.
Prepare feed solution by diluting the stock solution about ten times directly or by on-line using filtered water. For small chemicals can be dosed by gravity or by dosing equipment.
Do not store the material in open. Keep the container tightly closed when not in use. These products are non- toxic in nature. No special care is required in handling this product.
