Closed System Treatment 302 is an advanced, multi-metal corrosion inhibitor from Innova Corporate specifically designed for larger or more critical closed loops in Agra's industrial and commercial facilities. This formulation contains a synergistic blend of molybdate (100-200 ppm), nitrite (300-500 ppm), tolyltriazole (for copper and brass), and an organic polymer dispersant. It provides superior protection for mixed metallurgy systems (mild steel, copper, admiralty brass, stainless steel) commonly found in Agra's central HVAC plants, textile chillers, and food processing refrigeration. Unlike basic nitrite-only treatments, Formula 302 offers higher temperature stability (up to 95°C) making it suitable for closed hot water heating systems as well as chilled water. The molybdate component acts as an anodic film former that is less oxygen-dependent than nitrite, ensuring protection even in stagnant zones or during system shutdowns. For Agra's hotels (which often operate seasonally with system lay-up), this is critical to prevent under-deposit corrosion. The product also inhibits galvanic corrosion caused by dissimilar metals in contact. Dosage: initial charge 3-5% by volume (1500-2500 ppm product concentration), then maintain molybdate at 100-150 ppm. We provide a complete monitoring kit (molybdate, nitrite, pH, conductivity, azole) and automatic feed systems. Case example: Agra's 1500 TR hotel chiller loop treated with 302 showed zero corrosion after 5 years (vs. 0.5 mm/year previously). A specially formulated chemical penetrant "INNOVA CW 302" will usually provide access throughout the deposit so that treatment chemicals can work their way into the affected area within Agra-based facilities. This eliminates the need for costly shutdown of the system and the resultant loss of production. A penetrant usually is a combination of wetting agents and surfactants which attack a deposit and make it porous so that other treatment chemicals function effectively even in high-moisture regional climates.
For example, a penetrant alone, or a biocide alone may not be effective in controlling organism growths in Agra's water systems, but the two together will solve the problem and restore the system to normal treatment. Penetrant can be used in re-circulating or once through cooling systems across the city and is compatible with most other treatment chemicals. Biological Growth Control:
Some microorganisms secrete protective slime which serves as a distinct barrier against biocide treatment. Under such circumstances increasing the biocide dosage is a futile effort because access to the living organisms is still unobtainable. The organisms continue to grow under the protective slime.Inorganic Deposit Control:
Scale, corrosion products, slit can accumulate rapidly and form an impenetrable barrier against treatment chemicals designed to control these conditions. In addition, the barrier can compound the treatment problems by harboring colonies of bacteria. The penetrant will be fed into the cooling system ahead of the prescribed anti-foulant chemical treatment.Controlling Oily Deposits:
Manufacturing plants, refineries and industries using oils in their production process are often plagued with oil in the cooling water system. When oil deposits accumulate, they form a barrier around corrosion deposits, bacteria, slit and scale. These oil barriers provide an excellent nutrient for excess bacteria growths - which in turn accumulate more silt deposits. Normal treatment cannot penetrate these oily barriers - particularly when they become baked and hardened by heat.
