Innova Corporate (India) provides high-performance Alkalinity Reducers for Sri Lanka. Operations across Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara, Kandy, and Galle face challenges from moderate to high alkalinity (150-400 ppm as CaCO₃) in Mahaweli river, Kelani river, and groundwater. Combined with moderate TDS, moderate hardness, high fluoride, and high iron, this leads to scale formation, reduced heat transfer efficiency, and RO membrane fouling. Our product effectively reduces alkalinity to 50-100 ppm, preventing scaling in cooling towers, boilers, and RO systems. Particularly effective for textile mills (cooling water), rubber processing, tea factories, and hotels. The formulation is liquid, easy to dose. By controlling alkalinity, we help Sri Lankan industries reduce blowdown frequency, resulting in water savings (15-20%) - critical in water-stressed dry zone areas. Our product complies with CEA discharge norms and marine ecosystem protection standards.
It is determined on the basis of nature of water in the system by technical experts from the company. The solution is dosed continuously into feed water tank to the suction side of the system feed line through pressure dosing equipment drip feed arrangement.
