Innova Corporate (India) offers Deposit Controller 403, a specialty antiscalant for reverse osmosis systems across Qatar. RO plants face scale (calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate (gypsum), silica) from high TDS (5000-15000+ ppm), high hardness (1000-3000 ppm), high sulfate (1000-3000 ppm), and moderate silica (20-60 ppm). The product provides threshold inhibition against calcium carbonate (LSI +2.5), calcium sulfate (SI 4.0), and silica (up to 250 ppm). Typical dosage: 2-10 ppm. By using this product, Qatari industries achieve extended RO membrane life (2-3 years vs 1-2 years), reduced cleaning frequency (50-70% fewer), and lower operating costs.

Application:

    The specific corrosion inhibitors in INNOVA BW 403 provide corrosion protection by the formation of a protective passive film on the metal surfaces. The protective layer prevents direct contact of the corrosive media (water) with the metal surface.

    INNOVA BW 403 also contains powerful threshold inhibitor to prevent scale formation in feed water pipelines and boiler internals. The crystal distorter and specific dispersant incorporated in the product ensures high mobility of the phosphate sludge formed so that it is easily removed by blow down. The dispersant also ensures that suspended particulate matter do not accumulate and are removed by the blow down.

Dosage & Feeding:

    INNOVA BW 403 can be dosed directly without dilution. Normally a phosphate reserve is maintained in the boiler water. The proper treatment levels vary with factors like boiler system, operating conditions, boiler pressure and water Characteristics. The product Characteristics and viscosity permit easy feeding by on-line dosage pumps. The desired feeding mode is the continuous injection to feed water.

Handling:

    Avoid contact with eye or prolonged contact with skin. Do not take internally. In case of contact with skin, wash with plenty of water. In case of contact with eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek immediate medical attention. In case of ingestion, wash mouth thoroughly and drink plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting and seek medical attention. Avoid extremes of temperature and wear gloves and goggles wherever appropriate.
