Innova Corporate (India) offers a premium Food Grade Di-Thio Carbamate based Biocide, specifically formulated for the food processing, fisheries, dates processing, dairy, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries of the Sultanate of Oman. With a growing food processing sector (dates - Oman's famous dates, fisheries - tuna, sardines, shrimp, dairy, beverages) and pharmaceutical industry in Rusayl, Sohar, Salalah, and Duqm, there is increasing demand for biocides that meet stringent food safety standards while providing effective microbial control. Our Food Grade Di-Thio Carbamate biocide is approved for use in facilities processing consumable products and meets Omani food safety standards (similar to GCC/FSSAI), WHO-GMP, and international food contact standards. Di-Thio Carbamates (also known as dithiocarbamates) are a class of broad-spectrum biocides and fungicides that work by complexing with metal ions essential for microbial enzyme function, particularly copper and iron-dependent enzymes. This mechanism effectively controls bacteria, fungi, yeasts, and algae without leaving harmful residues on food contact surfaces when used as directed. Key applications in Oman's food and pharma sector include dates processing sanitation (washing, grading, packing - dates are a major Omani export), fisheries and seafood processing (tuna canning, sardine processing, shrimp freezing - Omani fisheries are growing rapidly), food processing plant water systems, beverage production sanitation, pharmaceutical purified water loops (WFI and PW), and dairy processing equipment disinfection. The product is also valuable for non-food industries where food-grade certification is preferred for safety compliance including cosmetic manufacturing and high-purity chemical processing. Our Di-Thio Carbamate biocide offers excellent thermal stability (effective up to 90°C), making it suitable for high-temperature processes like dates pasteurization, seafood sterilization (canning), pharmaceutical sterilization, and hot water sanitation. It is effective across a broad pH range (5-10) and demonstrates good compatibility with non-ionic and cationic surfactants. The product is liquid, easy to dose, with typical usage of 10-50 ppm for continuous treatment or 50-200 ppm for shock dosing. It has a low odor profile - important for food and pharmaceutical facilities. By using our Food Grade Di-Thio Carbamate biocide, Oman's food processing, fisheries, dates, and pharmaceutical industries can achieve compliance with Omani and GCC food safety regulations, effective microbial control without product contamination, reduced risk of spoilage and quality issues, extended equipment run times between cleaning (up to 3-5 times longer), and safe discharge to ETP and marine environment at recommended levels.
For optimal results in Oman, INNOVA BCD 002 is designed to be fed continuously at three critical positions on the mill tandem. This methodical application ensures consistent protection across the production line, safeguarding your yields and maintaining the operational excellence of your industrial food and sugar processing infrastructure throughout the city.
INNOVA BCD 002 is stable and can be stored for extended period of time. Product should be stored in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. Special care should be taken to avoid contact with chemicals such as acids, quaternary compounds, oxidising agents, low pH materials etc. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and food. In case of contact, immediately flush yes or skin with large amount of water several times. If swallowed, drink large amount of water or milk and get medical attention immediately. Do not reuse the empty container, destroy it.
