Innova Corporate (India) supplies a premium Isothiazoline based Biocide, also known as Isothiazolinone biocide, a broad-spectrum, non-oxidizing preservative and microbiocide for industrial water treatment in Ghaziabad. Industries across Sahibabad, Modi Nagar, and Crossing Republik prefer Isothiazoline biocides because they offer excellent long-term microbial control, are halogen-free, and have favorable environmental profile. Our Isothiazoline based biocide is a synergistic blend of CMIT (5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one) and MIT (2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one), providing powerful control of bacteria, fungi, and algae. The mechanism of action involves inhibition of key enzymes involved in microbial metabolism, specifically inhibiting glucose transport and disrupting the Krebs cycle. This leads to cessation of growth and eventual cell death. Unlike shock biocides that require high doses for short periods, our Isothiazoline biocide is ideal for continuous or semi-continuous dosing at low concentrations, providing ongoing protection against microbial regrowth. Key applications in Ghaziabad include cooling water systems, paper mill white water, textile processing baths, metalworking fluids, paint and coating preservation, and reverse osmosis membrane protection. The product is particularly valued in paper mills where it controls slime-forming bacteria without affecting paper strength. Our Isothiazoline biocide is effective at low dosages (5-30 ppm continuous) and maintains efficacy over extended periods (up to 30 days) due to its slow degradation profile. It is effective across pH range 4-9 and at temperatures up to 50°C. However, it can be deactivated by high levels of reducing agents (sulfite, thiosulfate) and strong nucleophiles. The product is compatible with non-ionic and anionic surfactants and most corrosion inhibitors and antiscalants. By using our Isothiazoline based biocide, Ghaziabad industries can achieve long-term, cost-effective microbial control, reduced biocide handling frequency, compatibility with sensitive equipment (RO membranes, ion exchange resins), and favorable environmental profile with biodegradability.
Dosage in cooling water treatment programs 50 to 120 ppm for effective control of biocide activity, for cooling waters.
INNOVA BCD 407 can be fed as received or diluted with water minimum 10% concentration with any chemical feed solution. The chemical should be added to cooling tower basin (or any other point, which provides uniform mixing) addition should be made to metering pump to minimize handling.
Badly fouled systems must be cleaned before treatment to start. INITIAL DOSE - When the system is noticeably fouled, slug feed 50 to 75 ppm of INNOVA BCD 407 in the system. SUBSEQUENT DOSE - When the Microbial count is evident, slug feed 25 to 50 ppm of INNOVA BCD 407.
he best indication of the successful application of INNOVA BCD 407 is visual inspection of tower surfaces or monitoring changes in heat transfer on metal surface of process equipment. Uses of on-site bacterial counts or microscopic examination provide relative indicators of system cleanliness and biological control. If bacteria counts are used, Note that counts may be high immediately after biocide addition. Counts will be lower as control is achieved
INNOVA BCD 407 is available in 25Kgs, 50Kgs & 200 Kgs.
