Innova Corporate (India) supplies DDAC (Didecyl Dimethyl Ammonium Chloride) – a high-performance quaternary ammonium compound as an 80% active concentrate for Bangalore's industrial sanitization and algaecide applications. DDAC has stronger biocidal activity than conventional BKC, particularly against fungi, biofilms, and algae. For Bangalore's cooling towers – which face algal growth during monsoon and biofilm issues year-round – DDAC provides long-lasting control at 2-5 ppm continuous or 10-20 ppm shock dose. For pharmaceutical and biotech plants (cleanrooms), DDAC is used as a surface disinfectant for floors and equipment (200-400 ppm). For food processing (dairy, beverages), it is used as a sanitizer for equipment and floors. For data centers, it prevents biofilm in cooling loops. The product is very stable in storage (2+ years). It is compatible with non-ionic surfactants but incompatible with anionic polymers. The product is biodegradable (60% in 28 days) but toxic to fish – send to CETP. For cooling tower dosing, we recommend a diluted stock solution (10-20%) fed via metering pump. We also provide blends of DDAC with glutaraldehyde for enhanced biofilm control. Available in 200L drums and 25L carboys. We provide quat test strips and compatibility testing for Bangalore's customers.
