PE-605 works by charge neutralization and bridging flocculation, converting fine colloidal particles – such as oils, greases, paint overspray, metal fines, and suspended solids – into larger flocs that settle rapidly or float (in DAF). For Ballabhgarh's automotive paint shops, it detackifies paint sludge and removes suspended solids at 60-100 ppm dosage. For steel re-rolling mills, effluent from roll cooling contains high oil and suspended solids – PE-605 reduces TSS from 1500 ppm to <100 ppm. For metal finishing units, it clarifies wastewater from plating and polishing operations. The product is effective over pH 5-11 and can be used with inorganic coagulants (alum, PAC, ferric chloride) to reduce overall cost.
